Hello

I’m Ken Russell, founder of Vindictive Fitness and architect of the V.I.N. Protocol. What started in the cab of a truck became a system designed to bring structure to chaos: fitness that fits into real life, without guesswork. I built this while eating prep meals at rest stops, lifting between overnight hauls, and using every tool I could to stay disciplined.

Now, I coach others to do the same. With proven weekly systems, customized check-ins, and a sharp focus on nutrition-first execution. If you’re serious about structure, I’ve got you.

My Story

When I was in the Marine Corps, structure wasn’t optional. It was built into every hour of the day. I had a schedule, a mission, and the tools to execute it. But when I transitioned into life as an owner operator truck driver, that structure collapsed. Hauling freight across the country on unpredictable timelines forced me to rethink everything I knew about discipline and routine.

At first, I kept trying to do what had always worked. The same diet, the same training style, the same mindset. But month after month, the results didn’t come. I was in a different environment now, and the same methods no longer applied. Time was tighter. Tools were limited. And nothing was on autopilot.

I realized I needed a new plan. One designed for life inside chaos.

Vindictive Fitness was born out of that exact pressure. It’s what happens when you refuse to quit looking for light in the darkest places. When you choose to build your own map instead of staying lost in mystery. This isn’t about hacks or motivation. This is about having a system that works, even when you’re exhausted, stretched thin, or stuck in a truck stop with no gym for 50 miles.

Because when the why is powerful enough, the how gets simple.
